Large Intestine
Surprisingly, the Large Intestine Meridian is not the one commonly used for illnesses of the lower gastrointestinal tract. Large Intestine qi is more closely related to organs of the head (eyes, ears, nose, and throat), the skin and lungs. Acupoints along the Large Intestine Meridian are also used for regulating the body’s surface temperature.
